The City of Springville announces a vacancy in the office of City Council, created by the resignation of Councilmember Matt Packard, effective January 03, 2022. Pursuant to UCA 20A-1-510, the City of Springville hereby gives notice that the City Council will fill said vacancy with an interim appointment until January 01, 2024. The two-year council seat will be up for election on November 07, 2023.
Any qualified person interested in being considered for an appointment to the City Council may make an application to Kim Crane, City Recorder. Applications will be accepted until December 30, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. Applications are available online at https://www.springville.org/elections/ or the City Civic Center located at 110 South Main Street, Springville, Utah.
