Regular meetings of the City Council are held in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center Building, 110 South Main Street, Springville, Utah commencing at 7:00 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month. Work meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers and are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month. The second Tuesday is scheduled as the Directors’ Meeting and begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room. Call the City Offices at 801-489-2700 or check www.springville.org for more information. How to help with the election

If you are interested in being a poll worker, you will need to contact Utah County Elections at (801) 851-8128.

Requirements to run for municipal office

Candidates must be:

  • 18 years old
  • A US citizen
  • A registered voter
  • A resident of Springville (or a recently annexed area) for 12 consecutive months prior to the election.

Any mentally incompetent person, or any person convicted of a felony, or any person convicted of treason or a crime against the elective franchise may not hold office in this state until the right to vote or hold elective office is restored as provided by statute.
