Proper planning will help assure that as Springville’s downtown grows, Main Street will be an even more vibrant and livable place. It is vital that Main Street’s function as a major transportation thoroughfare be balanced with its role as the center of the city and the primary public space in downtown. In addition, a cohesive vision is needed to guide the continued evolution of downtown. This study will identify goals, policies, and implementation strategies for transportation, land use, urban design, and programming to accomplish these aims.
Springville City is now accepting sealed bids for the 2022 Chip Seal Project. This project will include the installation of chip seal on several roads throughout Springville City – covering 137,000 square yards of area. Included material items are emulsified asphalt. All sealed bids must be received by Springville City Finance Department Office by 2:30 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022
Springville City desires to retain the services of a Professional Consulting Engineering Firm to update the City’s Storm Drain Master Plan.
The installation of approx. 4,380 lf of new 12-inch PVC water main on 1000 South from 400 East to 1200 East, connecting to the existing water main at each end and connecting all intersecting mains from adjacent side streets (approx. 15 lf of 10-inch main, 350 lf of 8-inch main, 250 lf of 6-inch main and 50 lf of 4-inch main); replacement of (59) 1-inch water services and (1) 2-inch water and connecting to the new to main; and installing 9 new fire hydrants. Work shall also include the construction of approx. 555 LF of new 15-inch RCP storm drain, 80 lf of 18-inch RCP storm drain, 2400 lf of 24-inch RCP, 195 lf of 12-inch HDPE storm drain, (9) 60-inch storm drain manholes, (5) new storm drain curb face inlets and (1) storm drain combo box inlet. Additionally there will be some ancillary concrete work (curb, gutter and waterway replacement), and requisite roadway excavation and asphalt “T” patch.

Construction of a 3 million gallon tank, 20’ source junction tank and modification to two existing tanks at the corner of South 1950 East and East 400 South Springville, Utah 84663. Work will include mass excavation of existing site, tank construction, backfill, grading and installation of piping from new tank to tie into existing piping systems.
