Golf Tournaments, Events, and Outings

Hobble Creek Golf Course is a great venue for hosting golf events and tournaments. Our facility specializes in corporate and group tournaments of up to 128 players. If your group is larger we would love to discuss what we can do to host your event as well.

Setting up a golf event is simple, call the pro-shop at (801) 489-6297 and speak with one of our golf professionals today. They will help you make the arrangements for a successful golf outing.

Course rental and tournament events are NOT AVAILABLE ON HOLIDAYS

Rates

Golf tournaments all have different expectations and needs. Because of these differences we offer several options to provide you the opportunity to hold a tournament that meets your needs.

Exclusive Course Usage:

For groups who wish to hold an exclusive event at the golf course with no public or outside play on the course with their group.

Small Groups – Less than 110 players

Rent the Course Fees:
- 1/2 Day Course rental (6 AM to 1 PM)
  - Monday – Thursday $6,900.00
  - Friday – Sunday $7,800.00
- Full-Day Course Rental (6 AM to 6 PM)
  - Monday – Thursday $11,600.00
  - Friday – Sunday $13,300.00

Non-Exclusive Groups

For groups that wish to hold a non-exclusive event at the golf course so play will be lead by public golf and or followed by public golf

Non-Exclusive Event Fees:

Monday – Thursday – $54.00 per player
Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays – $58.00 per player

Shotgun starts are typically not available for Non-Exclusive Events

Golf Event Policies

All groups will require a contract as well as pre-payment for the event 7 days in advance.
No shows and dropouts are a sad reality of golf tournaments, however, no refunds or rain checks will be given for players who no show.
Additional players added to the field within the 7-day window will be charged the tournament rate plus a $10.00 per player convenience fee that will be due on the date of the event.
Rainouts (when we deem that the course is unplayable) will be refunded or the event will be moved to a different day at no additional charge.
Cancellations by the event planners within the 7-day window will be subject to the following refund policy:
- 73-168 hours – 70% refund
- 37-72 hours – 45% refund
- 0-36 hours – No Refund
All groups are expected to use the Sand Trap Cafe for all the tournaments food and beverage – NO OUTSIDE FOOD AND/OR BEVERAGE WILL BE ALLOWED without the consent and approval of The Sand Trap Cafe.

When planning your golf event, we have a few simple helpful hints:

	Remember mid-week events Monday through Thursday are the best days for an event with the most flexibility.
	Keep the format simple and fun – Scrambles typically work best when you have a mixture of skill levels
	Simple contests are easier and more enjoyable for players i.e. closest to the hole, long drive, or longest putt made
	Starting your tournament between 7 and 8 AM provides the most options and flexibility for your event and participants
	Use the Hobble Creek Pro-Shop for tee prizes and contest prizes
