For Girls and Boys ages 6 through 13. Each session will run for 6 weeks total. Held once a week from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, with ½ hour of instruction plus 1 ½ hours of fishing time (adaptive session is only 1 hour). Held at Wayne Bartholomew Family Park, 1090 South 1900 East. Each session is limited to 25 participants. Cost is $30 per child and includes a T-shirt. Fishing tackle is provided. Must supply own fishing pole. Space is limited to 25 participants for each session. A $10 fee will be added for non-Springville residents. Volunteer instructors are needed.

Volunteers qualify for Dedicated Hunter hours with the Division of Wildlife Resources. Peer Tutor credit hours are also available for high school students assisting in the Adaptive Session. Contact recreation@springville.org for additional information about volunteering.
Registration is online 24 hours a day and 7 days a week through the Rec1 system. Users must create a family account and log in to register. If you have difficulties with Rec1 online registration, please call the Rec office during regular business hours at (801) 489-2730. If you forget your password, please call and it can be reset. Please do not create multiple accounts to register your participant. Most registration problems can be solved quickly over the telephone. Recreation staff can help by phone, so coming to the office isn’t necessary unless you are paying with cash or a check.
