Pickleball is a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. Pickleball is played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes, and can be enjoyed by all ages and skill levels. This can be played as doubles or singles. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.
Youth classes for ages 8 to 15 will be held in June. These beginner classes will consist of 8 one-hour sessions. Classes will give participants an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of this fun and engaging sport. Lessons cost $45.
Pickleball Lessons will be held on the north end of the Clyde Rec Center courts, southeast area of the CRC parking lot, 717 South 1200 West.
