Other Special Events
Other events are sponsored by various local groups are held throughout the year. For example, Springville Rotary sponsors the annual Easter Egg Hunt, Springville World Folkfest brings dancers from all parts of the world to perform for one week each summer, Safe Halloween is sponsored by the Springville-Mapleton Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club sponsors a Halloween 5K to benefit the Sub for Santa program. Please check with each individual organization for information on these and other special events.
Special Events Application / Local Filming Permit Application
Advanced approval and a Special Event Permit is required by Springville City for individuals or groups sponsoring any outside event that would request assistance from Springville City. An official permit is required for events such as a 5K or 10K run, parade, car show, walkathon, etc. that would utilize City roads, parks or property. Applications must be submitted at least 30 days in advance. An official Local Filming Permit is required when Springville City is used as a location for any type of film production.
