Traffic Officers
Springville is lucky to be served by officers who are dedicated to making our streets safer for our children and families through targeted traffic enforcement.
These officers stay busy responding to traffic accidents and following up on traffic complaints reported by the public. A third officer, who doubles as the court bailiff, assists in these duties whenever possible.
Traffic officers can be seen driving either a regular marked patrol car, or riding on one of two Harley-Davidson motorcycles. The traffic division was started following the donation of the motorcycles by a local businessman.
You will also see our “motors” in parades, both here in Springville and around the valley, as they donate their time to represent the City and assist other agencies with traffic control at special functions.
