Mayor’s Message

No community is immune to tragic accidents or crimes, but Springville is one of the safest cities in one of the safest states in the country. Thanks to community members who respect and care for one another, as well as an excellent Public Safety Department, we largely live in peace and comfort.

Public Safety Director Lance Haight and all our officers and public safety personnel strive to serve the community and build strong relationships of trust with Springville residents. Chief Haight says police officers are often referred to as “peace officers,” and explains it is truly their job to bring peace into potentially chaotic situations.
